Orthopedic devices

A personalized approach

The orthopedic service has workshops on site in Ouarzazate, which allow it to manufacture devices, orthotics and prostheses.
As part of a regular collaboration established for several years with the ISTM, students from the institute come every year for a fitting campaign and spend several weeks in Ouarzazate, where they make orthopedic shoes.
Each year, the number of people benefiting from prosthetic devices is stable: around 140, and between 15 and 20 people for orthopedic shoes.
In the event of difficulty, the social service will try to find funding that will allow full or partial coverage of the cost of the equipment.
